The school counselors are vital members of the education team. Their primary goal is to encourage, support, and foster positive academic, social, and personal development among the students, ensuring today’s students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.
Our school counselors are professional educators with a perspective of mental health who understand and respond to the challenges presented by today’s diverse student population. Their leadership, advocacy and coordination, promote rectitude and easy access to various educational experiences and formulate improvement policies for all the students.
The school counselors do not work in isolation; rather they are integral to the total educational program and work as a liaison officer between parents/students and discipline committee in resolving the issues amicably.
They provide mediation for students to resolve conflicts and take appropriate actions. They serve a vital role in maximizing student achievement and support a safe learning environment.
